Art Deco Weekend 40 Years of Fabulous Opening Night Soiree

Miami Design Preservation League Celebrates 40 Years of FabulousFriday, January 13, 8pm-10pm – Art Deco Museum, 1001 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach

Miami Design Preservation League celebrated the 40th anniversary of Art Deco Weekend with an opening night soiree featuring live music by Michael Arenella & His Dreamland Orchestra, cocktails and hors’d’oeuvres. MDPL is a non-profit organization devoted to preserving, protecting, and promoting the cultural, social, economic, environmental and architectural integrity of the Miami Beach Architectural Historic District. Originally organized by Barbara Capitman and friends in 1976, it is the oldest Art Deco Society in the World.

MDPL provides cultural and educational programs to Miami-Dade County residents, surrounding counties, citizens of Florida and to national and international visitors and tourists.
