New World Symphony’s 29th Annual Gala

New World Symphony's 29th Annual GalaSaturday, February 11, 6pm-11pm – New World Center, 500 17th Street, Miami Beach

The New World Symphony, America’s Orchestral Academy, hosted its 29th Anniversary Gala celebrating the institution’s unique role at the intersection of education, classical music, technology, architecture and inspiration. The evening started with a NWS-signature blue carpet arrival, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a concert, a seated dinner, and Late Nights at the New World Center.

The concert featured an unforgettable performance by the New World Symphony led by Co-Founder and Artistic Director Michael Tilson Thomas, and featuring six-time Tony Award-winner Audra McDonald. Proceeds from the Gala benefit New World Symphony and its mission of preparing gifted young musicians for careers in professional orchestras, while providing meaningful cultural programs to the South Florida community.
