Blended Canadian Whiskey Collingwood Whisky hosted an intimate, seated multi-course family style dinner and whiskey pairing to celebrate “Women Who Whiskey.” Hosted by Collingwood’s North American Ambassador, Alexis Green the all female-driven event is specially designed for women who enjoy whiskey to explore the various Canadian-based whiskey flavors Collingwood offers and find out what makes them unique. “Women Who Whiskey” is breaking the stereotype that whiskey is a masculine drink, and focus more on taste than gender!
Collingwood was released in February 2011 and is the smoothest whisky ever made because it is triple distilled and slow-aged in white oak barrels from Brown-Forman cooperage in Kentucky, and finished with toasted maple-wood mellowing to remove any trace of harshness. It is crafted at Brown-Forman’s Canadian Mist Distillery in Collingwood, Ontario using fine Canadian grains and pure water from the Georgian Bay.
Collingwood blended Canadian Whiskey is a perfect base for some popular cocktails, like Collingwood Sour, Tom Collingwood, or Collingwood Mojito. Collingwood also perfectly pairs with delicious Italian food offered at the Cibo Wine Bar, including: Prosciutto & Formaggio Platter, Arancini, Fried Zucchini & Artichokes, Melanzane, Parmigiano Lobster Ravioli, Gnocchi, Pollo Mattone, Tonno Scottato, and of course Chef’s Selection Dessert Platter.
