19th Annual Mayor’s Ball Benefiting United Way of Miami-DadeSaturday, June 9, 7pm-12am – InterContinental Miami, 100 Chopin Plaza, Miami

On track to raise more than $1 million to support education, financial stability and health, Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez, his wife Lourdes P. Gimenez, and event chairs Michaela and Jeffrey Gouveia Jr., hosted the 19th Annual Mayor’s Ball at the InterContinental Miami. Miami’s most influential leaders from business, government and community leaders gathered together under one shimmering disco ball, to raise funds and awareness for United Way of Miami-Dade and the many programs it supports.

Presented by Suffolk, this glittering glitz ultimate throwback party was celebration of the longstanding partnership between Miami-Dade County and United Way. Mayor’s Ball proceeds support more than 120 local programs that ensure young children get off to a good start in school and in life, youth receive academic and social support to graduate high school, families in crisis get back on their feet and pave a path to financial stability and older adults remain active and independent.
