March of Dimes 22nd annual Broward Signature Chefs Auction was hosted by Executive Chef Paula DaSilva of Burlock Coast at The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale, featuring MC Kenny Walker of 102.7 The Beach. Chef Culinary Chair Reynier De La Osa of Publix Aprons Cooking School and Host Culinary Chair Chef Paula DaSilva of Burlock Coast were joined by a stellar lineup of chefs from more than a dozen of the area’s most prominent restaurants: Jeff Vincent of Funky Buddha Brewery; Chef Pablos Salas of Lona Cocina Tequileria; Chef Jeff Pfeiffer of Lobster Bar Sea Grille; Chef Javier Jaramillo of Sea Level; Chef Chris Miracolo of TRP Taste; Chef Marc Gruverman of The Capital Grille; Chef Derrick Connor of Royal Pig; Chef Eric LuBan of JB’s on the Beach; Chef Gordon Maybury of Corsair kitchen & bar; and Chef Adrienne Grenier of 3030 Ocean.
Following the tasting, guests enjoyed plated dessert by Pastry Chef Carlos Salazar of The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale and live auction featuring many once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. Funds raised by Signature Chefs Auction help support research, lead programs and provide education and advocacy so that every baby can have the best possible start. Today, one in 10 babies in the United States is born premature, including one in 10 in Florida. March of Dimes is committed to working together to improve the health of every mom and baby.
