Ann Storck Center‘s annual Celebrity Chefs event features unlimited grand tasting of South Florida’s best restaurants and most creative chefs, surprise live entertainment, and an exciting silent and live auction. Since its inception in 1993 under the leadership of Mr. Marvin Gutter, the Celebrity Chefs event has garnered a reputation as one of South Florida’s premier fundraising events.
In 1951, Ann Storck, a pediatric nurse for 26 years from Connecticut, retired to South Florida and opened her heart and her home to a handful of disregarded children with developmental disabilities. Ms. Storck founded the Pediatric Care Center which evolved into Ann Storck Center, Inc. in honor of Ann Storck’s commitment to the children of Broward County. Ann Storck Center now serves almost 300 individuals on two campuses with over 25, 000 square feet of living and learning space through several programs, including the Early Intervention Preschool, Adult Day Training program, Residential Services and the Expressive Arts program.
