The Little Lighthouse Foundation‘s Hearts & Stars annual events took over South Florida this past weekend. On Friday, March 11th, the foundation hosted a private Opening party at Nautilus, A Sixty Hotel. Attendees were privy to an open bar, poolside entertainment and live art installments by Eddy Bogaert and Julie Mimran for a $50 donation benefiting the Little Lighthouse Foundation.
Festivities continued onto Saturday, at the Hearts & Stars Gala 2016: Venetian Carnival charity event at Island Gardens and the Deck at Island Gardens. The black-tie event drew in Miami’s elite, willing to open their hearts and wallets for donations to a worthwhile cause. The venetian-themed masquerade party featured acrobats, live music, an open bar and a plethora of delicious, small bites from local establishments such as French 27, Red, the Steakhouse and more.
The Little Lighthouse Foundation assists children and their families in South Florida struggling with financial, educational and medical hardships. All proceeds from the silent and live auction directly benefit the foundation, which utilizes the help of volunteers and to support LLF programming and charity.
