Did you know that the city of Miami is the only major American city founded by a woman? “Miami Founders” campaign celebrates this legacy by sharing the stories of female founders in the city today, discussing the challenges they are facing, and recognizing their achievements.
The original campaign, which was created in partnership with the Knight Foundation, was interrupted in March 2020 by the COVID-19 pandemic. This newly relaunched campaign features the original list of 30 women founders, which was curated with the help from Babson WIN Lab under the leadership of Michelle Abbs. #MiamiFounder
