Loray Mistik, one of Miamiâ€™s signature true world music groups, has been making music for 22 years. Led by Jude Papaloko Thegenus, their sound mixes traditional Haitian voudou (rasin) rhythms, West African percussion and soukous, with rock and blues.Â Opening set by Kazoots.Â The night will featuring delicious kreyol cuisine from Leelaâ€™s Lakay, ice cold Prestige Beer at the bar, and more.Â The hands-on art activities for kids are sponsored by Positive Impact Foundation / Kose Famn and Bass Museum of Art.Â In the gallery, Jude Papaloko Thegenus exhibition featuring his work as a visual artist.Â Big Night in Little Haiti takes place every 3rd Friday, free, at the Little Haiti Cultural Center.
