Join Bakehouse Art Complex for the Opening of “Processed Prose”, curated by Ombretta Agro’ Andruff, “Processed Prose” features works by Elysa D. Batista, Donna Ruff, and Jeff Wallace. The exhibition was conceived as an homage to National Poetry Month, however, despite being its source of inspiration, the written word is rarely at the forefront of the artworks featured: words are burned, extracted, implied, indecipherable, or simply not there, yet their ghostly presence is heavily felt.
