Meet Kent L. Karosen, President of the Fisher Center for Alzheimers Research Foundation, at a special presentation of his first published book, Why Cant Grandma Remember My Name? along with reproduced artwork featured in the book. Karosen explains Alzheimers disease using artwork created by children juxtaposed with art created by Alzheimers patients, demonstrating the power of art therapy for all ages and a way for parents and family to share with a younger audience what is happening to those afflicted with the disease. All proceeds will go to the Fisher Center for Alzheimers Research Foundation in the quest to find a cure Alzheimer’s. Light refreshments will be served.
