Join FIU Department of Art + Art History and MFA Students in the Visual Arts for lecture ofÂ Siebren Versteeg‘s works, a curious mix of generative painting, digital practice, and processing digital information. Much of his work is comprised of “paintings” generated through programmed algorithms which create the paintings which are then printed. In his recent exhibition at Emerson Dorsch Gallery he displayed a series of these paintings generated from one algorithm.Â This event is free and open to the public.
