Johnson & Wales Universityâ€™s North Miami Campus hosts Distinguished Visiting Chef Dinner with Richard Ingraham, Personal Chef to NBA Superstar Dwyane Wade.Â Guests are invited to a delectable meal filled with culinary inspiration from Chef Ingraham. The menu will include hors dâ€™oeuvres such as short rib deviled eggs, onion jam and crispy shallots; double stuffed mushrooms; and conch salad shooters. The main course will feature a four course meal with wine pairing. The first course will include a heirloom tomato and watermelon caprese salad. The second course will include mutton snapper, sweet rice, grits, brussels and saffron vanilla sauce. The third course will include seared scallops, parsnip puree, and sweet pea apple compote. The dessert will be a chocolate toffee bread pudding, en croute with Kahlua mousse and chocolate herb sauce.Â A $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student from the universityâ€™s College of Culinary Arts. The dinner is open to the public at $85 per person.
