The City of Fort Lauderdale proudly supports Earth Hour 2014Â and its mission to create a sustainable world.Â On Saturday, March 29, from 8:30pm â€“ 9:30pm, communities everywhereÂ will switch off lights for one hour to celebrate a commitment to the planetÂ by leading a more sustainable lifestyle.Â The City of Fort Lauderdale plans to participate by turning off non-essentialÂ lighting at City Hall. Where possible, they invite neighbors to join in theÂ effort to preserve our planet for future generations.
