HEAT Head Coach Erik Spoelstra will lead a contingent of cyclists in the HEAT Cycle for Safety event, a four-mile leisurely bicycle ride along Biscayne Boulevard in Downtown Miami. The event will begin at 9am in Parcel B located directly behind the AmericanAirlines Arena. The event is neither a race nor a competitive affair – it’s a recreational activity designed to promote bicycle safety and cooperation amongst cyclists, drivers and pedestrians.  Parcel B will be open starting at 7am and will remain open until noon. The HEAT Experience, including the HEAT Dancers, Burnie the mascot, the Xtreme Team and Banana Man, will be on hand to entertain riders both before and after the ride.
