Up-and-coming South Florida developers Stambul Construction, will celebrate their new location in the Wynwood Arts District with a grand opening exhibition during Aprilâ€™s Second Saturday â€œArt Walk.â€ The construction company will showcase the highly-acclaimed Before I Die installation from New Orleans-based artist, Candy Chang, for the first time in the neighborhood. The world-renowned interactive art piece, Before I Die, is a wall with chalkboard paint and stenciled sentence â€œBefore I die, I want to ________,â€ where guests and passersby will be able to write-out their colorful chalk dreams and reflect on their lives. The Before I Die walls have been recreated in over 65 countries and in 30 languages, worldwide. It will be the first time the provocative project has been created in the Wynwood area. Stambul will present the artwork of Candy Chang during Second Saturday Art Walk on April 12, 2014 from 6 – 9PM. Street parking is available.
