Fahrenheit Models Fashion Week was created in 2013 by a student organization at Johnson & Wales University. Lead by one of the most talented fashion students at Johnson & Wales, Antonio Boone, CEO of Fahrenheit Models has made sure this week has become a staple for North Miami within just one year. Developing relationships with various South Florida designers and retail chains, Boone and Johnson & Wales has provided the best opportunities a Fashion Week can provide.
Each event day had something new to offer both JWU students and visiting guests from all over South Florida. Guest had the chance to experience a fashion expo with a panel of distinguished speakers such as, Mary Kay’s Independent Future National Sales Director, Rozanne Rodriguez as she spoke on “The Pink Cadillac is Real,†Debra Bartkowski, who has been in the fashion industry for over 25 years, and Erika Joy Gardner of Hollywood Institute. Guest also had the opportunities to see exquisite fashion at the fashion show and a Networking Brunch with industry professionals from in-state and out of state. Fahrenheit Models Fashion Week is an event developed to bring people together in the name of FASHION and this is only the beginning of an event that will continue to grow to be one of the biggest fashion events that have hit North Miami.
