Small Miracles happen every day at Easter Seals South Florida, and friends and supporters of Easter Seals will celebrate just a few of those miracles at the Small Miracles Luncheon. Today 1 in 9 people over the age of 65 have Alzheimer’s, and 1 in 68 children are born in the autism spectrum. Easter Seals has three senior centers to support our seniors and provide 171 families with in-home respite care. They also have an autism elementary school, middle school, a culinary arts high school program for young adults 16 to 22, and a child development center for babies up to four years old. Since 1942 Easter Seals South Florida has provided exceptional services so that children and adults living with autism, Alzheimer’s, and other disabilities can live, learn, work, and play in our community. If you would like to learn more about Easter Seals and its programs and consider making a commitment to further its mission, this luncheon is a must. Thanks to The Batchelor Foundation, all gifts made at the luncheon will be matched by the Foundation, essentially doubling the impact of all gifts.
