Na’vi Blue Party at MODS

Na'vi Blue Party at MODSFriday, April 18, 6:15pm-7:15pm – Museum of Discovery and Science, 401 SW 2nd street, Fort Lauderdale

In celebration of Earth Day, Museum of Discovery and Science guest had the chance to enjoy James Cameron’s 2009 Avatar re-opening night. The NA’VI BLUE Party was included in the 7:15 p.m. AVATAR: Special Edition 3D ticket price that was showing at the AutoNation IMAX 3D Theater. Attendees were greeted by the Na’vi people upon arrival and escorted to the party area. Once inside, the children and adults were released to have lots of fun. The children were dipping piece of delicious goodies such as, strawberries, pineapples, and marshmallows inside of the blue chocolate fountain compliments of The Melting Pot Fort Lauderdale, while the adults sipped on blue HPNOTIQ, a burst of blended exotic fruit juices with premium French vodka and a touch of Cognac as they carried on casual conversations.

After the party was over, guests were ushered into the theater to be immersed into a meticulous and brilliantly colored alien world on the BIGGEST screen in SoFla. For 2 hours and 46 minutes the world of Pandora was brought to life like none other and the audience loved it. Few films return us to the lost world of our first cinematic experiences, to that magical moment when movies really were bigger than life. Avatar is one of those movies and remains to be the most ambitious 3D film ever released.
