United Way of Miami-Dade hosted “Happy Hour For A Cause”, an exclusive networking event and happy hour for United Way Young Leaders and their guests. Young professionals enjoyed appetizers and cocktails provided by Batch Gastropub while socializing and mingling with old friends, other members and new connections. The networking event offered guests the opportunity to connect with other young professionals and raise awareness for the United Way’s many programs.

The United Way of Miami-Dade has a long and successful track record of responding to emerging needs in the community and transforming people’s lives. The organization focuses on education, health and financial stability, invests in quality programs and advocates for better policies.  Through this work, the United Way engages members of the community empowers families and individuals to become financially stable and independent.

The United Way Young Leaders is a group of compassionate, caring young professionals ages 40 and below who are devoted to improving their communities and furthering the United Way’s mission. These individuals donate their time and volunteer their efforts to United Way of Miami-Dade and work to make Miami-Dade the best it can be.
