Sriracha House, a new Southeast Asian street-food-style eatery, officially opens its doors in South Beach on Friday, May 2, offering new noodle and rice dishes to its Facebook fans from 11 AM-3 PM. The late-night (it’s open until 4 AM), fast-casual space is done up in funky colors, and features made-to-order, healthy dishes mixed with an array of global flavors (think: Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand). Guests will create-their-own plates by ordering at the open display kitchen. They’ll start off by choosing from a rice or noodle (such as jasmine rice or egg noodles), then begin piling on ingredients like bok choy, cashews and bamboo shoots. Homemade sauces are also available – flavors range from Taiwan oyster to Himalayan hot umami. There are plenty of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options too – just be sure to ask when ordering. As for drinks, Asian beer and local craft brew make an appearance along with Taiwanese bubble tea. And if you’re looking to cool down your palate after all the spicy goodness, opt for shaved snow with alternating daily flavors.
