Fort Lauderdale-based Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza is opening its first South Beach shop on Monday, May 12.Â Since opening its first location in Fort Lauderdale in 2002, Anthony’s has gone on to expand to 46 restaurants in Florida, Delaware, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.Â On Wednesday, for the official grand opening, NFL Hall of Famer and pizza enthusiast, and also the partner in the chain,Â Dan Marino will be at the new restaurant, signing pizza boxes,Â chowing down on an Eggplant Marino, and posing for selfies.Â Hours of operation are 11:30 a.m. â€“ 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11:30 a.m. â€“ 11:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. In addition to dining in, patrons can carry out by calling 305-674-8100. A full bar is available.
