National Pink Day with The Women’s Breast Health Initiative

National Pink Day with The Women’s Breast Health InitiativeMonday, June 23, The Women’s Breast Health Initiative, 14125 NW 80th Avenue, Miami Lakes

Because the color pink represents breast cancer, The Women’s Breast Health Initiative, Florida Affiliate (WBHI) would like to take this opportunity to raise breast cancer awareness. October may be Breast Cancer Awareness Month; however, breast cancer does not only strike in October. National Pink Day is the perfect time to remind all women about the importance of breast health and to play an active role in raising awareness.

Join WBHI in the fight against breast cancer by wearing pink on June 23, then taking your best pink-wearing photo and posting it on Facebook Page. Everyone can participate. Share your support on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag, #NationalPinkDay and #NationalPinkDayWBHI. Your participation will help raise awareness of the day and of the importance of preventive care and screening for breast cancer.

This campaign is sponsored by the Women’s Breast Health Initiative, Florida Affiliate, a nonprofit organization that provides critical information and screenings to women in South Florida. Dedicated to fighting breast cancer as a deadly disease, WBHI empowers at-risk women to beat breast cancer through targeted door to door outreach, screening and/or treatment. This organization believes that all women should benefit from the prevention and early detection.
