Miami New Times 2014 Iron Fork, presented by Downtown Development Authority, will take place on July 31st at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Miami. Culinary connoisseur Aaron Brooks from the Latin-influenced restaurant, EDGE Steak & Bar, will compete against Todd Erickson, executive chef of the digitally intimate HI-Fi lounge, HaVen, in a sizzling showdown for supremacy during the Chef Challenge competition hosted by Chef Allen Susser! Their tantalizing creations will be presented to Timon Balloo, 2011 Iron Fork Winner and chef at Sugar Cane Raw Bar Grill; Jamie DeRosa, 2013 Iron Fork competing chef, and chef/partner of Tongue & Cheek; and Adrianne Calvo, 2009 Iron Fork judge, and chef/owner of Chef Adrianne’s Vineyard Restaurant and Wine Bar. Only one will be named this year’s winner and be presented with the coveted Iron Fork Award. General admission tickets are $45, and VIP ticket are $75 and includes 1 hour early entrance. 100% of auction proceeds and a portion of Iron Fork ticket sales will go to the No Kid Hungry Campaign. #IronForkMIA
