Experience Independence Day in Downtown Palmetto Bay this July 4th with food, family fun, and a giant fireworks display. This first-ever Fourth of July event for the Village happens in the Franjo Triangle just east of Village Hall, along Franjo Road. Admission is free and open to the public. Event features include: Food trucks & merchandise booths (get vendor registration), Free American flags, Live music by “The Fire Brigade”, free “Fun Zone” for kids with mechanical rides & bounce house, hot dog eating contests, sack race, 3-legged race, street performers (stilt-walkers, jugglers, unicycle), face painting, “Around the World” Zumba Experience, beer-garden for adults, lounge areas, giant fireworks display. The prime viewing area is along Franjo Road, as the fireworks will be launched from the center of the Palmetto Bay Park softball complex.
