Deming Harriman uses found paper, books, photographs, and other collected and created material to produce her collage based artwork. Her work explores fantasy themes while she creates her own mythology of empowered goddesses, spirits, and other mystical beings. Deming Harriman is a Miami Beach raised artist, and graduate of Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in Illustration and a concentration in Book Arts. Her work focuses on a mixture of romanticism and surreal mysticism themes when creating her unique collages. Deming is currently a resident artist at ArtCenter/South Florida on Lincoln Road. She is also a creator and featured artist for Create Collect.Â On view July 3 â€“ August 31.
