The Duke Lounge & Gallery may be new to the Little Havana neighborhood, but its intentions are timeless: to promote art good music and to cultivate an exquisite range of food and beverage. The new lounge slash-art space will celebrate their grand opening on Saturday, July 12, with complementary wine and hors d’oeuvres and live entertainment by pianist and songwriter Chantil Dukart.Â The Duke offers an eclectic menu ranging from fois-gras, crostini, wild boar salami, charcuterie platters, locally smoked bacon bit bruschetta and more. Thereâ€™s also guava bellinis available as well as a selection of wine and craft beers. There is a standing offer of bottomless wine, beer or bellinis for $20 per person.Â A dim lighting vibe and comfortable sofas and salon chairs lend the space a lounge-y feel. The live music selections to be offered are an eclectic range of funk, soul, rock, hip-hop and Latin, all performed in an acoustic format; DJs will occasionally spin from the same genres. Hours are Wednesdays â€“ Saturdays, 5 p.m.until 12 midnight.
