Turn Down For What? What the Shared Economy Means for Miami

Turn Down For What? What the Shared Economy Means for MiamiMonday, July 14, 6pm-8pm – The LAB Miami, 400 NW 26th Street, Miami Wynwood Arts District

The New Leaders Council - Miami invites you to this conversation with for-profit businesses, non-profit organizations and elected officials about the shared economy and Miami. The Shared Economy is here (Ebay, Cyclehop, Kickstarter, Craigslist) and new forms are expanding in Miami (Car2Go, Lyft, Airbnb). Moderated discussion and Q&A will focus on where it is headed and what it could mean for Miami. Representatives from some of these companies and Miami-Dade County elected officials will help expand our understanding of the Shared Economy. Starting with drinks from 6pm – 7pm, followed by discussion from 7pm – 8pm. Sponsored by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
