Il Mulino New York Opens on South BeachFriday, July 18, 5pm – Il Mulino New York, 840 1st Street, Miami Beach

Il Mulino New York, the classic Italian eatery with locations all over the world, has brought its, talents to South Beach with its new location in Miami Beach’s South of Fifth neighborhood in the former Clark’s space. The restaurant already has a popular outpost in Sunny Isles inside the Acqualina Resort & Spa Hotel. The overall design aesthetic, created by Lee Katzoff and Rozhia Tabnak, evolved out of an on-site study of the unique Miami culture, and the connection of geometric consistencies that make Manhattan and South Beach sisters. The 2,000 square foot space constructed by architect Robert Spataro reflects a fusion of metropolitan sophistication and South Beach Art Deco achieved through an enhanced sense of proportionate lengths and heights combined with marbleized patterns in subtle gray accented with chrome. “The menu will be consistent in style and flavor with the offerings at our flagship restaurant” says Executive Chef Michele Mazza, “complemented with dishes that speak to the unique flavor of South Beach with fresh seafood, handmade pastas and quality meat and poultry.”
