8th Annual 305 Day

8th Annual 305 Day Block PartyFriday, March 5, 12pm-9pm – The Leah Arts District, Hialeah

The 8th Annual 305 DAY Block Party was cancelled due to COVID-19 but 305 DAY aims to celebrate Miami with community-wide events, special offers, giveaways and virtual programming! Thanks to 305 Cafecito® — founders of the city’s official coffee break time at 3:05 p.m. — March 5th (as in 3/05) is now celebrated as 305 DAY® and has become a bonafide cultural movement and annual community-wide celebration!

While the 305 DAY Block Party drew thousands last year, the focus of the 8th ANNUAL 305 DAY is to celebrate as safely as possible with a week full of small business promotions, satellite parties, special offers and live community conversations. This year, 305 DAY supports Miami’s small businesses through a community-wide initiative with over 60 confirmed participants.

Those who wish to celebrate the festivities can do so virtually, by shopping local brands or attending local events by over 60 local participating small businesses. The 305 DAY Community Guide can be found at www.305day.miami.

At noon on Friday, March 5, the official 305 DAY, Kush Hialeah in The Leah Arts District will host a party starting at noon with free giveaways from Voli 305 Vodka. Happy hour revelers can enjoy the new Casa Tiki in the heart of Little Havana who will have a live set by Miami-turntable legend DJ LAZ and drink specials starting at 5pm. Casa Tiki is the newest venue by the owners of Racket Wynwood, who will be giving away free custom 305 DAY shirts designed by Miami artist Ahol Sniffs Glue. @305day
