1st Annual Here’s HOW Third-Thursday Fun-Raiser

1st Annual Here's HOW Third-Thursday Fun-Raiser!Thursday, September 18, 6pm-8:30pm - Crane’s Beachhouse Hotel & Tiki Bar, 82 Gleason St., Delray Beach

Give back while celebrating a night under the stars with Mark Duper from the Miami Dolphins and the Founders of the HOW Foundation of South Florida at the popular Tiki Bar at Crane’s BeachHouse Hotel, which will provide an array of amazing hors d’oeuvres and tasty treats, plus live music. Carolyn Duper, wife of former NFL Dolphin Mark “Super” Duper, is serving as Honorary Chair of this Fun-Raiser. For more than 35 years, she has worked for healthcare giant Florida Blue, where she gained a solid foundation in healthcare, insurance policies and procedures. As a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, Mrs. Duper’s primary focus is her family’s health and well-being, so ever since her husband was diagnosed in 2013 with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, she has actively researched and championed effective treatments for brain injuries including HBOT.

On behalf of the HOW Foundation of South Florida, a Delray-based nonprofit organization that provides hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) scholarship funding for those in need and educates the community on the medical uses of HBOT. The organization is currently focused on helping veterans suffering from traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as providing access to HBOT for the healing of sports injuries, stroke, cerebral palsy, Autism, and more. Attendees will each receive one free drink ticket good for beer, wine or soft drinks (additional drinks will be available at happy hour prices), and one free raffle ticket. Raffle items will include Miami Dolphin football tickets, a free one-night stay at Crane’s BeachHouse Hotel, and other items donated by local merchants who support the cause. Tickets are $25 in advance or $35 at the door. For more information or to purchase advance tickets, contact Sarah Crane at 561-450-6213.
