AARLCC's Destination Fridays: JamaicaFriday, February 5, 6:30pm-9:30pm – AA Research Library and Cultural Center, 2650 Sistrunk Blvd., Fort Lauderdale

Join AARLCC for Destination Fridays: Jamaica featuring Bob Marley’s birthday. For $10, adults age 21 and over will enjoy an evening of Jamaican effervescence! The library will be humming with rum punch, Jamaican food, lively music and dancing in the lobby. Photographer entrepreneur David Muir is providing some Jamaica-flavored visual thrills in the library gallery. In the library lobby, guests can enjoy musical entertainment, including singer Kristine-Alicia and sax man Randy Corinthian, along with poetry by Dr. Susan Davis. Also, Calibe Thompson of Blondie Ras Productions, a Miami-based video production company, will showcase her upcoming Caribbean programs. Come dressed to jam in your Bob Marley t-shirt and your reggae colors. Dance your way to fitness with the ReggaeFit team and channel your inner Bob Marley for the Lip Sync Smackdown.
