EDGE Steak & Bar is bringing island fever to Brickell with a luau-esque gastro-fest.  Chef Aaron Brooks invites some of Miami’s top culinary talent to join him in celebration of his participation in the upcoming Chef Fest at Four Seasons Resort Hualālai from October 22-25, 2014. Joined by Conor Hanlon of The Dutch, Jacob Anaya of OTC, Timon Balloo of Sugarcane and Todd Erickson of Haven Gastrolounge and Huahua’s Taqueria, Brooks presents an reception-style event where guests have the opportunity to interact directly with some of Miami’s top chefs.  Attendees can expect Hawaiian favorites, tropical concoctions, Brooks’ famous whole-roasted pork, and a lot of island-style fun on Saturday, October 4th. Feast on an unlimited amount of Hawaiian inspired specialty dishes prepared by each individual chef, for a total of five featured small plates. The collaborative culinary event concludes with sweet treats from Keith Wallace, the debuting pastry chef at EDGE Steak & Bar. Island-state-of-mind required, coconut tops and hula skirts optional. Reservations are $65 per person.
