South Florida’s diverse cultural makeup has allowed it to be a stage for showcasing and celebrating the unique traditions of its residents. The Miami Broward Carnival is one of the area’s largest annual events, drawing upwards of 30,000 participants and spectators each year. Held every year as a way to celebrate and share the Caribbean culture, the Miami Broward Carnival is heralded as one of South Florida’s top festivals, fostering community pride and civic involvement, and providing critical opportunities to the Caribbean people in South Florida to promote cultural exchange and build economic cooperation in the multi-cultural environment that is Miami.
