Tsukuro, Fort Lauderdale Beach’s popular Asian-inspired eatery, will cast a spell over locals with an early Halloween Full Moon Tricks and Treats Party on Oct. 11. The restaurant will reward loyal guests of the Inner Circle, an exclusive club for Tsukuro fans, with an evening full of specials, discounts and most importantly, tricks and treats.
As guests dine under the full moon, The House of Flying Cards magicians Anthony Medina and Mark Espinosa will perform tableside tricks, including levitation, vanishing acts and more that will mystify the mind, while DJ Eran Hersh spins a monster mash selection of spook-tacular Euro-house sounds. Witches and warlocks looking for a magic potion can indulge in five specialty brews created by Tsukuro’s mixologists including the Black Devil Martini of dark rum with a black olive garnish and orange sugar rim; the adult-approved version of a milkshake, the Liquefied Ghost Cocktail; the Zombie Cocktail of apricot brandy and three types of Bacardi rum; the herbaceous Mr. Hyde Potion; and the Almond Joy Martini of chocolate vodka and hazelnut liqueur with a coconut rim.
Featuring seasonal ocean treasures from the raw bar and a variety of fresh sushi, sashimi and rolls ($6–$30), Tsukuro’s menu is complemented by small and large plates for sharing, ranging from traditional favorites like Signature Back Ribs ($11) to Pineapple Duck (half $29/whole $49) to playful takes on classics with Slow-Braised Oxtail Spring Rolls ($10) to Crispy Whole Fish ($45), delivering a myriad of tastes. A thoughtful selection of wine, sake, tea, beer and signature cocktails brings harmonious balance to the umami (savory) culinary offerings.
