Join the oldest event on Biscayne Bay known as the Bacardi Columbus Day Regatta. The waters of Biscayne Bay fill up with nearly 300 vessels racing throughout the weekend. The courses remain the same as the last 6 years so the Saturday finish / Sunday start is just north of Black Ledge, allowing sailors the easier option of returning shore side for the night or continuing down to Elliot. The first event will be the Friday evening Skipper’s Meeting and Packet Pick up at the Coconut Grove Sailing Club and will feature their Friday night Happy Hour. Also, new for 2014, the Dockside Party will become the CDR Conquistador Dinner & Dance at Shake-A-Leg Miami. The party will commence at 7pm and will feature dinner, an open bar by BACARDI, dancing with a band and a famous Shake-A-Leg auction along with other entertainment.
