Phunk-U Present Elijah Smith Art Show

Phunk-U Present Elijah Smith Art ShowSunday, June 5, 6pm – Hard Rock Cafe at Bayside Market Place, 401 Biscayne Blvd., Miami

Elijah Smith describes his work as abstract but has a lot of detail. To him, it is surrealism. Surreal art was created from a Spanish artist named Salvador Dali and it happens to be the artist that inspired him. His style is his own also the paintings are usually mixed media. (Gauche, colored inks, acrylics and some oil.)

Some artists believe bigger is better but he don’t, its the quality, time, and creative thought that matters. When he work on his art it is based on his creative energy and well as on the spot innovative thoughts. It changes and morphs until he think it is done. When you truly study his work, it is a form within a form, within a form. (INFINITY) Also it means to me allot of subconscious thought. Usually he will put a window in his pieces. It represents a window or door of perception and also a window into his soul.

Music by Ayran, Carlos Lopez, Luigi Rodriguez, Cyclops, Chuckles, DJ JENuendo b2b Dj Marc Matrix playing a musical concept influenced by Tech, Funk, Soul, Percussion, Dub and the output of this combination is what we perceive as Modern House.
