Design and Architecture Senior High (DASH) PTSA presents the 7th Annual “Taste of Design”Â at The Moore Building. This yearâ€™s theme, â€œPaint the Town Redâ€ promises to awaken the senses through a dazzling array of epicurean delights, fashion, art, music, film and a spectacular silent auction. Lynn Martinez, co-anchor of WSVN-TVâ€™s Deco Drive will reprise her role as Mistress of Ceremonies for the evening. Proceeds from the event will directly benefits the DASH PTSA and raise critical funds to invest in quality education for DASHâ€™s next generation of talented artistic and design professions. More than 400 guests are expected at the event, including some of South Floridaâ€™s most influential and innovative arts and business leaders.
Guests will sample specialties from a smorgasbord of top Miami restaurants including Buena Vista Bistro, The Embassy of Well-Being and Debauchery, Harryâ€™s Pizzeria, Oolite Restaurant and Bar, Las Vacas Gordas, Shake Shack, Tap Tap, Soykaâ€™s, and Jardim de Portugal, along with Panther Coffee, Enchanted Creations and The Crepemaker. A highlight of the evening is the highly-anticipated offerings of the silent auction, with items including original artwork, jewelry, dining, spa and medical spa services, home and garden items, skin care products, exotic vacations and tickets to major entertainment venues.Â Guests will also enjoy a sampling of fashion, film and fine art as well as music from DJ Danny O.Â Tickets are available for a donation of $75, with VIP tickets priced at $100 and VIP reserved tables of 10 are available for $1,000.
