Visual artist, Alex Yudzon, who traveled from Moscow to Washington D.C and then Brooklyn has finally landed in Miami for his first local exhibit showcasing his impressive collection of work reflecting this journey. The exhibition, titled “The Great American Novel and Other Stories,†will premier at Art Bastion, in conjunction with Wynwood Art Walk. Also featured in this thought-provoking exhibit are works made almost entirely out of sunflower seed shells. Inspired by Yudzon’s childhood in Moscow, the pieces in this collection use iconic Russian imagery to revisit the failed ideals of the Soviet era. This is his first solo exhibition in Miami.
