NSU Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale and Florida Grand Opera present Art Inspired Song Tea and Opera. Performance inspired by Café Dolly: Picabia, Schnabel, Willumsen and American Scene Photography: Martin Z. Margulies Collection. Florida Grand Opera (FGO) and the Museum of Art (MOA) in Fort Lauderdale present a concert featuring Florida Grand Opera’s Young Artists. The program will be built around the two of the museum’s current exhibits: Café Dolly and American Scene Photography. FGO will select pieces that either reflect the inspiration of the artwork or that were composed around the same time. Both FGO and MOA hope to give audience members a sense of what was going on in music and visual art at that time and connect the visual art on display to the musical art our singers will present. Admission for general public is $10 and $7 for seniors.
