Pop-rock sensation Rome, of Sublime with Rome, will take center stage at Sole on the Ocean on Saturday November 22, 2014 for a live acoustic performance alongside Bushwood Band in celebration of Miami Live Month. No stranger to live performances, Rome Ramierz, lead singer of super group Sublime with Rome, headlines the latest installment of Sole on the Oceanâ€™s Barefoot Concert Series.
Rome Ramirez first rose to fame in 2009 when he became the lead singer and guitarist of Sublime with Rome, a group that featured Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson of Sublime, withRamirez taking the place of the late Bradley Nowell. Sublime with Rome made its debut in 2009 at Cypress Hill’s Smokeout Festival in San Bernardino, California. Ramirez was soon touring steadily with Sublime with Rome; in 2010 he co-wrote and sang the song “Lay Me Down” with the band the Dirty Heads, which rose to the top of Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart.
