Don’t miss the swansong of summer-long film series with The Wolfsonian-FIU & Miami Beach Cinematheque! Using external narration and an episodic mix of memories, this film portrays the life of the Cuban intellectual and novelist Reinaldo Arenas (1943–1990), from the poverty of his early childhood to his persecution by the Castro regime and final years in Manhattan during the AIDS crisis.
