Spirit Miami 2014Sunday, November 16, 4pm-8pm –  Kavachnina Contemporary Gallery, 46 NW 36th St, Miami Midtown

Spirit Miami is a celebration of Kagyu Shedrup Chöling (KSC), the Tibetan Buddhist Center in Miami. At this lively annual event Sangha members invite all to join in a spirit of compassion, loving kindness, and joy. Spirit Miami showcases musical entertainment, an art auction, food, drink, and, traditional chanting rituals from Tibet. It all adds up to harmoniously sharing merit and fun. Performances will include music by Buddhist entertainers Rachel Faro, Antonio Lieva, Stephen Eisel as Pause and Effect, and Simon Olano. A silent but joyful auction will accompany the musical performances. Art pieces from one of the major holders of the Kagyu Lineage, H.E. Tai Situ Rinpoche, will be available for bidding, as well as work from Edward Rossel, Liz Cerejido and our beloved teacher, Lama Karma Chötso. Authentic Tibetan artifacts will also be available at our Tibetan nomadic store.
