Concurrent to this year’s Art Basel Miami and Miami Design, the exhibition Em Trânsito will launch never-before-seen, new reissues and one-of-a-kind furniture pieces by some of Brazil’s most celebrated modern and contemporary architects and designers.  Organized by Espasso, Wallpaper* magazine and The Shore Club, host venue of Em Trânsito, the exhibition will feature new pieces: such as Carlos Motta‘s standout Pinda armchair, Claudia Moreira Salles‘ sculptural Concreto bench, Etel Carmona‘s Suchus stool and Fernando Mendes‘ Grude armchair, along new re-editions, such as Jorge Zalszupin‘s Anette armchair and Oscar Niemeyer‘sON desk, and one-of-a-kind pieces as Zanini de Zanine’s impressive Jacaranda bench.  Em Trânsito will also celebrate the iconic design of Sergio Rodrigues, launching the last piece he designed, the Benjamin armchair, along the launch of the re-edition of hisMoleca armchair, as well as a special limited numbered edition of the first piece he designed, the Mocho stool, 1954, complete with a laser-etched commemorative signature of Rodrigues’.
