Rebuilding Together Broward County, a nonprofit organization that brings volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low income homeowners, hosted its inaugural “Black Dresses & Blueprints,” a cocktail reception and awards ceremony celebrating women in the construction industry. The event recognized outstanding women who are leaders within and have made an impact in the construction industry and their community.
Honorees included Beth Azor, president and owner of Azor Advisory Services; Debbie Danto, COO and owner of Danto Builders; and Traci Miller, senior vice president and shareholder with Miller Construction. Alexandrea Torti will be honored with the Young Rebuilder Award. More than 150 guests attended, including companies and individuals in construction-related industries and focused on housing issues, senior citizens and veterans, including local leaders and influencers.
