If your New Yearâ€™s resolution is to become a better cook, Chef Cindy Hutson can steer you in the right direction. Ortanique on the Mile will be hosting their first cooking class of the year on Saturday, January 10th. Guests will have a chance to play chef as they learn how to prepare Cindyâ€™s Cuisine of the Sun signature dishes: Cuban Style Bacalo Fritters with scotch bonnet and roasted garlic aioli; Pan Roasted Local Yellowtail steamed with fresh coconut milk, Caribbean vegetables and Jamaican pumpkin wata; and Key Lime Coconut Squares with apple pie ice cream. Each course will be complemented with champagne or wine and taught the art of pairing wine and food.Â The class is limited to 24 people and the cost is $108 per person.
