Experience the 3rd annual Yoga Night at the New World Symphony, featuring a 30-minute concert by the New World Symphony, America’s Orchestral Academy (NWS), immediately followed by a one-hour yoga class on the lawn of Miami Beach Soundscape all for just $2.50!
The yoga class will be led by three of Miami’s top yoga instructors – Amy Dannheim, Cat Haayen and Sharon Aluma, and will include classical music and other selections being spun live by DJ Laura of Miami, played on the 167-speaker outdoor sound system, as well as visuals provided by Jason Boogie (VJ AV8) that will be projected on the 7,000 square-foot projection wall of the New World Center. Prior to the concert, a video featuring a New World Symphony Fellow will address the relationship between classical music and yoga.
The previous Yoga Night at the New World Symphony events have attracted over 550 yoga enthusiasts, and have come to represent a signature annual yoga event in South Florida. The performance will be led by the New World Symphony’s Conducting Fellow, Christian Reif.
