The Gardens is pleased to announce the return of the popular Chili Cook-Off. Get your ten-gallon hat and cowboy boots on and enjoy an afternoon of cooking competition at its best. Restaurants, caterers and novices compete for the title of “Best Chili in Townâ€. Enjoy country music provided by “18 Wheelers†and Kiss Country Radio 99.9 FM, refresh yourself with a good brew, enjoy line dancing, children’s activities, mechanical bull rides and much more. This is a professional and an amateur-friendly cook-off, so dust off your apron, grab your spices, and let’s get cookin’! General admission is $5, and all proceeds benefit the Pinecrest Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving historical Pinecrest Gardens. This event is sanctioned by the International Chili Society.
