Muse Residences in Sunny Isles hosted an exclusive art event at their sales gallery featuring prestigious works of art from world-renowned French glass designer Lalique, and bring together an elite clientele who have a passion for both art and real estate. Collaborating and co-organizing the event were Brigitte Respaut Clement, owner of OfCourseMiami along with Elodie Couturier, art expert and owner of Appraise Art.
At Muse on display were contemporary works of art from French glass designer Lalique. Known around the world for iconic creations of glass, art, perfume bottles, vases, jewelry, chandeliers, clocks, and automobile hood ornaments, Lalique has been positioned for over a century as the ultimate symbol of French luxury. Rene is coined as changing the world we live as he was the first to offer glass pieces to everyday people to display in their homes.
Inspired by Lalique’s original Art Nouveau and Art Deco creations, today’s designers and glass-makers continue to bring to life objet d’art, barware, jewelry, fragrance, furniture, and interior fixtures. Some iconic commissions of Lalique are the interiors of the Orient Express, SS Normandie, Teien Palace, and Claridges Hotel. To this day, the Lalique Company, founded by and named after Rene, continues to be a successful and prestigious glassware company. The art will be on display from April 29th-May 29th, 2015.
