Get ready for a star-spangled Independence Day at Jungle Island where animals and families are the stars! In celebration of America’s birthday, South Florida’s popular eco-adventure attraction will host daytime festivities for the entire family, including patriotic animal parades with dancing flamingos, rambunctious lemurs, slithering reptiles and more.

Kids who dress up as their favorite animal will receive free park admission with an adult ticket purchase and be invited to participate in the parade on July 4th. In addition, Jungle Island will offer a variety of holiday activities from face painting, a DJ, to kids entertainment and games.

Join Miccosukee Resort & Gaming to celebrate Freedom Festival, South Florida’s favorite July 4th party. Bigger and better than ever, Freedom Festival 2019 is completely FREE! Attendees are welcome to enjoy concerts starting at 5:30 p.m. featuring Keith Johns and the incredibly talented LeAnn Rimes. 

This year’s festival will include an incredible array of carnival rides and games, music, refreshing water slides, exhilarating airboat rides, alligator wrestling demonstrations, fireworks and more. Visit The Lincoln Eatery on July 4th for a patriotic celebration spreading among the food hall’s 13 global culinary concepts, including the grand opening of Smoke’d, a barbecue and brisket purveyor offering sandwiches, hamburgers, chicken wings, fried chicken, fries and a slew of sides. The Smoke’d team will host a 4th of July picnic on the Eatery’s backyard area for an outdoor Independence Day extravaganza. The concept surrounds cooking high-quality meats in a smoker. In barbecue, smoking is cooking food “low and slow,” for an extended period of time. The burger and barbecue concept is one of the first kosher barbecue establishments on Miami Beach, helmed by Chef and Rabbi Adam Gindea.

Celebrate America’s Independence Day at the City of Fort Lauderdale’s free 4th of July Spectacular! The Independence Day Celebration will feature a patriotic extravaganza featuring live bands, a kids zone, beach games, contests, family activities and a dazzling fireworks display. The 4th of July Spectacular takes place on July 4 from Noon to 9:30 p.m. on Fort Lauderdale Beach at A1A and Las Olas Boulevard.

The Kids Zone will provide non-stop energy and excitement along with plenty of music and comic relief from Noon to 5:00 p.m. Highlights will include DJ, music, bounce houses, water slides, face painting, beach games and contests. Make sure to bring your appetite so you can compete in an old-fashioned hot dog eating contest. And if that doesn’t fill you up, top it off by participating in a July 4th apple pie eating contest!

Live music kicks off with Brass Evolution from 4:30 to 7:15 p.m. From 7:45 to 9 p.m., country music icon Lee Greenwood will entertain event attendees with his famous patriotic tunes such as, “God Bless the U.S.A.” As the sun goes down watch the sky light up with the City’s spectacular fireworks show at 9:00 p.m. This dazzling pyrotechnic display is simulcast with music on 101.5 LITE FM and is an annual favorite for all!

The City of Pompano Beach will be celebrating July 4th this year with a Fireworks Extravaganza at Pompano Beach at the beach, near the Fishing Pier. At 5 PM, we will start the night off with live music, featuring the “Southern Blood,” a southern rock band, followed by the main act “Vinyl”, a top 40’s band.

At 9 PM. direct your attention to the night sky as we set off an array of fireworks that are sure to impress. Fireworks will be launched from a floating barge in the ocean off the end of the Pompano Beach Fishing Pier. Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome; however personal fireworks, glass containers, alcohol, and pets are prohibited. In case of inclement weather, there will be a rain date for the fireworks show of Friday, July 5th.

Join the City of Pembroke Pines Annual Fourth of July Celebration at the Pines Recreation Center Festival Grounds. This free event includes rides, live music, food trucks and a spectacular fireworks display. Guests can arrive as early as 6 p.m. to begin purchasing hot dogs, hamburgers, and other delicious foods from all types of food trucks until 9 p.m., including a Beer Truck.

From 6 p.m. to 8:45 p.m., there will be rides, games, art projects and other activities for the kids. Families can also dance to the Top 40 sounds of the Clique Band from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. At 9 p.m., one of the best fireworks displays in South Florida will begin. The beautiful light and sound extravaganza will last approximately 20-25 minutes.
